What we can provide for your child The Before School Care operates Monday to Friday from 7am until school or pre-school opens each morning. After School Care operates Monday to Friday from 3pm until 6pm. We also provide a Short After Care Service from 3pm until 3.30pm each afternoon, which is especially handy if you are running late on any day. ASSCO OSHC on the whole maintains a carer to children ratio equal to, or greater than, 1:12.5 and always has two or more carers on duty. We serve breakfast at Before School Care and afternoon tea at After School Care… and popcorn if we watch a video when it rains. Enrolment and Immunisation forms, information packs and booking forms are available from the OSHC office at Lennox House or Online.

Enquiries and Staff See the Co-ordinator, Gabriele in the afternoons for enquiries regarding enrolments and bookings, programming, policy, administration and Quality Assurance, fees, CCB, statements and reminder notices. We encourage feedback and input from parents in relation to the program, policies or other issues relating to the centre. The ASSCO OOSH Committee members are also available to address your concerns. Bookings Booked days are regular days of the week throughout a term and charged at the discount rate if paid for in advance. Casual bookings are extra or irregular days, charged at the standard rate. If bookings are not paid in advance they will be charged at the standard rate. To be booked in for a day means that day is paid for two weeks in advance and may not be swapped for another day. If you are unable to attend, you will not be refunded for the day. If you wish to attend extra days, standard rates will apply. At the beginning of first term, you must pay a month in advance for Before and After School Care and fortnightly after that. Fees Payment Fees must be paid between the hours of 7-9am and 2.30-6pm. Parents must show a staff member the amount then both the staff member and the parent will sign an interim receipt which they will then keep. Money then goes in the green mailbox beside the noticeboard. Computer receipts are subsequently processed on a weekly basis. Periodically we publish documents and programs for parents to download that relate to programs that we are running, centre policies and/or policies that require community consultation. |

A community Partnership Yarrunda Temorah (unlike other OSHC services) is a school based service of Australia Street Infants School. It is managed and run by ASSCO (Australia Street School Community Organisation) in partnership with the school. Through this partnership we are able to provide a commitment to deliver a high quality service for all students, whilst also ensuring that all staff are trained and adhere to NSW Department of Education and Training policies including those relating to child protection and codes of conduct. |
